Mr. Collins Oppong Gyan, a Chartered Insurance Practitioner (ACIIG) and holder of an MBA in Marketing, brings over a decade of experience in the insurance industry to his role as Managing Director of Surge Insurance Brokers Ltd. His professional journey reflects a strong commitment to excellence, client-focused solutions, and industry innovation.

Prior to his appointment at Surge, Collins served as the Managing Director of OAK Insurance Brokers Limited from November 2023 to April 2025, where he led a transformative agenda focused on operational efficiency, team development, and strategic growth. Before that, he spent nine impactful years at Metrix Brokerage Limited, rising through various leadership roles and eventually serving as General Manager.

Collins is supported by a skilled team of professionals and is known for his leadership, integrity, and ability to drive performance through collaboration. At Surge Insurance Brokers, he is focused on building a dynamic and innovative brokerage that delivers tailored, reliable, and results-driven insurance solutions for clients across industries.

Dan Yeboah Jnr is Results-oriented individual with strong organizational and analytical skills and great leadership. He has over a decade experience in the insurance industry. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon and further holds a Diploma of Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College.

Prior to his current role, Dan was a Branch Manager at GLICO Life Insurance for eight years where he played pivotal roles in product development, product analysis, market intelligence and talent development. Mr. Yeboah also spent time at Edward Mensah Woods and Associates as a Branch Manager where he was responsible for insurance brokerage with international and local companies.

Dan has built a reputation of optimizing office processes and driving productivity. His meticulous approach to organizing and streamlining workflows has consistently delivered tangible results, making him a valuable asset to any organization he works with. He is deeply committed to excellence and excels in creating a harmonious work environment that promotes collaboration and success.

Flora Aggrey-Fynn Amissah is a seasoned legal practitioner and governance expert with over a decade of experience in law, corporate advisory, and human resource management. She is the Managing Partner at A-F Amissah & Wood, where she leads on corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters. Her legal practice spans contract negotiation, litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and corporate legal advisory for clients across various industries.

Prior to her legal career, Flora held senior management roles, including Senior HR Manager at Mechanical Lloyd Company Ltd., and brings a unique blend of legal and human capital expertise to the Surge board. She holds an LLM in Oil & Gas Law from the University of Ghana, a Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law, and an LLB from Mountcrest University College. She also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster, UK.

Flora is known for her integrity, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence. She plays a key role in guiding Surge Insurance Brokers’ governance, legal compliance, and strategic oversight.

Gideon Tettey Tetteh is a distinguished lawyer, law lecturer, and governance advocate with deep expertise in alternative dispute resolution, research, and policy advisory. He brings a wealth of interdisciplinary experience from his work with institutions such as Ecobank Ghana, GCB Bank Limited, the Ministry of Communications, Parliament of Ghana, and STRANEK-Africa — a civil society organization focused on policy reform, anti-corruption, and climate change.

Gideon holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Ghana, an LLB from GIMPA, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also possesses certifications in SAP Financial Controlling and Ghana Stock Exchange operations.

Currently, he lectures at the Faculty of Law at Wisconsin International University College and serves as a Director at STRANEK-Africa. His affiliations include the Rotary Club of Accra Airport City, Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship, and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
Gideon provides strategic oversight and policy guidance to the board of Surge Insurance Brokers, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, corporate ethics, and stakeholder engagement.

Frederick Osei Amoako is an independent business and engineering consultant and has worked in both corporate and independent environment. He is currently the Managing Director for Corporate Intelligence Bureau a security company specializing in corporate security solutions, bullion services, vehicle tracking, surveillance systems and the Managing Partner for Peddy Investment Limited (a firm with diversified operations in building, civil and electrical engineering), a director for surge Insurance brokers and Climbers Resource Limited. These accolades have secured him many contracts and awards as an astute business man.

Within twenty-five (25) years, he has gained substantial experience in human resourcing, operations, project management, security and conflict resolution, strategic management in both security services and engineering.

Fred has been the brain behind many landmark development projects in Accra and across the country. He is currently pursuing a PHD in project management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He graduated from Coventry University with M.Sc. Engineering and Management, BSc Operations & Project Management from GIMPA and HND in Building Technology from Accra Polytechnic.
